Crowcombe Court weddings
Weekday weddings in Somerset are becoming increasingly popular, it seems like Wednesdays are the new Saturdays for weddings! Francesca and Ian asked us to photograph their beautiful wedding day at Crowcombe Court, they chose our ever popular Micro-package which is perfect for couples looking for photography coverage from the ceremony, to family photos and of course the all-important couple portraits.
We arrived at the stunning Crowcombe Court in Somerset and Kerrie headed straight to the beautiful getting ready room to get those last moments of the bride getting ready. Francesca looked absolutely breath-taking, from the pretty floral-crown adorned with soft pink flowers to her romantic wedding dress, she was the epitome of a blushing bride! And don’t get us started on her beautiful wedding bouquet, it was one of our favourite bouquets of the year, the bright pop of pinks and greens looked perfect against her white wedding gown.
The groom Ian was waiting with all the guests in the light-filled Great Hall at Crowcombe Court, he looked so smart in his Royal Navy uniform. The bride made her way down the sweeping staircase and the ceremony began. Their celebrant made the ceremony really special with a few laughs along the way!
It was a lovely sunny day so after the ceremony we all headed outside to the steps for the fun confetti exit! Then, all the guests enjoyed drinks on the grounds of Crowcombe Court which is set in the rolling Quantock Hills, such an idyllic setting for an English country wedding!
We swept the newlyweds away for their couple portraits, this is our favourite part of your wedding day! And with the beautiful Somerset countryside as a backdrop, we were in our element. As we have photographed many wedding at Crowcombe Court, we know the best spots for your wedding photos so you can relax and enjoy the moment whilst we do what we do best!
The wedding breakfast was held in the Victorian Ballroom, when we saw the Peacock wedding cake we let out a loud ‘WOW!’, it was so beautiful!! The guests took to their seats and the speeches were made before we left everybody to enjoy the rest of the day.
