Weddings at Crowcombe Court
One of the reasons we moved 170 miles away to become Somerset wedding photographers was because of the beautiful wedding venues in the Somerset! Every single one we have visited so far (and that’s only a handful) have blown us away. And Crowcombe Court certainly did that! From the impressive drive up to the main building to the beautiful space inside that is full of the prettiest natural light that us light and airy photographers just love.
The lovely Lily who is the wedding consultant at Crowcombe Court showed us around this beautiful English country wedding venue. We fell in love with the magnificent bedrooms there with four poster beds and bathrooms to die for, not to mention he views, we could have easily moved in and never left.
We asked the general manager Fee a few questions to get the lowdown on this idyllic Somerset wedding venue.

Crowcombe Court was built as a statement of wealth and a house to entertain in by Thomas Carew. Completed in 1740 to a design by Nathaniel Ireson, who also built Stourhead and Venn House, the style is described as English Baroque and sits across the Queen Anne and Georgian periods. The house was owned by the Carew family until the 1960s and then, following a number of incarnations, has been now saved and restored to its former glory.
