Grace & Steve planned their colourful Spring wedding at Crowcombe Court in Somerset and we were over-the-moon when they asked us to be their wedding photographers! The day started in the beautiful getting ready room, Grace was being pampered and there were lots of giggles between her and her 2 bridesmaids. Everyone was so excited for the day ahead!

Grace chose a stunning vintage Needle & Thread wedding dress for the ceremony and she made all of her own paper flowers, they were absolutely beautiful, full of bright colours that matched her personality perfectly! And she wore the most exquisite floral embodied wedding cape, oh the details were so pretty!!

The couple married in the light-filled Great Hall at Crowcombe Court surrounded by all their nearest and dearest, it was such a heart-felt ceremony full of pure love & a few tears, Grace & Steve were clearly made for each other. After the all important confetti exit, all the guests enjoyed drinks & canopies and we whisked the newlyweds away for their couple portraits, our favourite part of any wedding day! As trusted suppliers for Crowcombe Court we know all the best spots for photographs and used the backdrop of this Grade I listed country house and the grounds which are set on the edge of the Quantock Hills. There was a little rain on the wedding day so Grace had a pretty pink wedding umbrella on stand by which we absolutely loved!!

The wedding breakfast was served in the Victorian Ballroom which, although has a grand feel to it with its striking ceiling and stunning chandeliers, it also feels very intimate and welcoming. The speeches were said and the toasts were made before the couple cut into their pretty, colourful wedding cake. 

Grace & Steve decided on a change of outfit ahead of the reception, and straight after their first dance everyone was invited to join in for the Ceilidh dancing, even us!! Oh, what great fun (and a little tiring!!), the energy in the room was electric as everybody spun each other around and were guided by the band to perform all the Ceilidh dance routines!
