Hestercombe Gardens wedding - Intimate green, white and champagne gold spring wedding
Sean & Rachidha were married on a beautiful spring day at the wonderful Hestercombe Gardens in Somerset. Rain was forecast but the sun came out just as the couple walked from the main house to the Orangery for their beautiful ceremony. They were joined by 8 guests, the brides parents could not be there so a photo of them was placed near where the couple took their vows.
The orangery at Hestercombe Gardens has the most stunning light that us natural light photographers love!! And local florist Sarah of Tilda Rose Floristry had created a few beautiful statement florals in vases with an Italian feel to place around the venue to give an element of bringing the outside in. After the ceremony, everyone gathered for the confetti exit and enjoyed time spent on the lawn outside the iconic Ham stone Orangery.
Us wedding photographers like a cloudy day so we were grateful for the odd overcast moments as we took the newlyweds for their couple portraits around the stunning gardens. Nestled in tranquil countryside with three historic gardens, Hestercombe Gardens is the perfect back drop for a Somerset wedding. With blossom trees and sweeping lawns and the pretty pergola we were spoilt for choice.
We headed back to the Orangery to watch the couple cut into their classic white wedding cake adorned with sugar flowers and champagne gold touches by our friend Tib of Little Buttercup Cakery.
We bid the couple farewell, wishing them all the happiness in the world. What a way to begin wedding season 2021, here’s to the return of those beautiful weddings, oh, how we have missed you!
Much love, J&K x
