Jo Malone London Wheat Crown Masterclass
Hen parties have come a long way over the years, we find our brides looking for a more classy & modern way to celebrate with their friends ahead of their big day. And with scent being so closely linked to memories, where better than Jo Malone London to inspire you for your own wedding day fragrance!
When we were asked by Clare Luke from Luke & Lottie Floral Design Ltd to photograph their Wheat Crown Masterclass for the launch of the new English Fields collection for Jo Malone London, we knew this would be a perfect event for hen party inspiration for future brides so we jumped at the chance. We are huge fans of Jo Malone London, a lot of our brides use Jo Malone London colognes for their wedding day scent, and we adore photographing all the pretty bottles!
The Wheat Crown Masterclass was held at Jo Malone Fenwicks Colchester on Friday the 16th March. Everyone was welcomed with a glass of British sparkling wine whilst the Jo Malone London team introduced the new range of limited fragrances from the English Fields Collection. From Honey & Crocus Cologne, to Green Wheat & Meadowsweet Cologne (our favourite!), the clients were taught how best to wear the fragrance and how to combine the scent with a complimentary body creme.
The team at Luke and Lottie Floral Design Ltd then taught the clients how to create a rustic wheat crown. It was so much fun! The ladies were shown first how to measure the crown, then attach individual wheat bunches to create a beautiful crown. We were very impressed with the results! Along the way, Clare & her team chatted about their floristry business and gave tips & advice on wedding day flowers from how far in advance to order your flowers, to seasonal colours for your bouquet.
The clients left with a Jo Malone London goody bag and of course their own hand made Wheat Crown! It was a wonderful, fun day, and one we hope to be a part of again real soon.
We want to thank Luke and Lottie Floral Design for allowing us to capture such a f day, and the team at Jo Malone Fenwicks for making us feel so welcome!
