Amy and Adam had the most beautiful wedding at Hestercombe Gardens earlier this year. Like a lot of couples, they had to move their original date from last year due to the obvious, so it was wonderful to see them finally have their day at the stunning orangery at Hestercombe. 

We arrived to Amy and her girls being pampered by the hair and makeup team, there was such a relaxed atmosphere as the July sun shone through the windows at Mill Meadow cottages. Amy had chosen the prettiest pair of daisy shoes to wear, we knew how much she loved daisies from her engagement shoot last year at Hestercombe where she asked us to photograph the two of them on the pretty daisy steps. 

James was with the groom Adam and the groomsmen who were getting ready just a stones throw away in one of the lovely cottages at Mill Meadow. He looked so smart in his grey suit with a floral tie, a firm favourite of ours! Adam headed to the orangery at Hestercombe Gardens to await the arrival of the bride. 

Amy had the biggest smile on her face as she walked down the aisle accompanied by her father. The orangery has the most perfect light and it was such a beautiful ceremony held by their brother-in-law Tom, after a couple of readings and a few moments of laughter, it was time for the all important first kiss!! Everyone headed outside for the confetti exit followed by drinks on the lawn outside the beautiful ham-stoned orangery. 

We stole the couple away for a few beautiful couple portraits around the stunning gardens at Hestercombe. With the abundance of lavender and summer florals, the picturesque gardens were such a breathtaking backdrop, every turn was a new photo opportunity. Of course, we had to make time for a stop off at the pretty daisy steps, these were some of our favourite photos of the day!

Everyone headed to Bampfylde Hall for the wedding breakfast, with it’s high ceilings and pretty fairy lights, it really was the perfect setting. The speeches were made and the cake was cut. We couldn’t resist stealing the couple away for a few last portraits under the pergola, what a perfect frame for your wedding photos!!
