It’s no secret that we both LOVE wedding flowers, so when we walked into this beautiful wedding at Crowcombe Court recently, we both let out a very loud ‘Woah’ as we walked into the Great Hall!! From fireplace installations to grand floral stands, and the prettiest wedding bouquets, we were in floral Heaven!!

It was a glorious October day as we headed to the getting ready room at Crowcombe Court, the bride Kathryn was being pampered along with her two bridesmaids and there was such a relaxed atmosphere as the bridal party chatted and enjoyed a glass of bubbly. The groom Andy was joined by his groomsmen as they all got dressed ahead of the ceremony which was held in the Great Hall. 

Kathryn stepped into her exquisite Temperly bridal wedding dress, she was positively glowing, this dress was just made for her!! Her father joined her and accompanied her down the beautiful staircase at Crowcombe Court and the ceremony began. It was a beautiful ceremony followed by the all-important confetti exit! It was unusually warm for the time of year, and all the guests made the most of the warm Autumn weather by enjoying the grounds of this stunning country house wedding venue.

The autumn colours made for a gorgeous backdrop, and the wedding bouquet bursting with autumnal colours looked stunning against the brides romantic bohemian wedding gown with the prettiest embroidered lace sleeves.

Everybody was called in for the wedding breakfast held in the Victorian ballroom at Crowcombe Court, the speeches were made and the wine flowed. There is such a cosy feel to this Somerset wedding venue that is amplified during the autumn months, it’s almost as though you are welcoming your wedding guests into your own country manor house for the evening. 

Before the cake cutting, we simply had to use the backdrop of the fireplace in the Great Hall for some of our favourite couple portraits of the year! If you have ever wondered whether to go all out on your wedding florals, these photos should make up your mind in an instant!! We could have spent hours photographing our couple in front of the epic statement wedding florals, but the dance floor was calling! The bride & groom made their way down to the undercroft at Crowcombe Court and took to the floor, the DJ activated the dry ice and the newlyweds had their first dance, it was so romantic, as if they were dancing on the clouds!! What an end to a perfect wedding day!!
