If you are getting married at Holbrook Manor and are looking for some stylish wedding inspiration, look no further! Sophie & Steve planned an incredible black-tie wedding at one of the most romantic Somerset wedding venues and we were so excited to photograph it all!
We arrived early and headed up to the getting ready room at Holbrook Manor where the bridal party were getting ready, and they were taking the ‘party’ bit very seriously!! There was a fantastic atmosphere with lots of dancing & laughing, there was even a sing-along before they headed off to get dressed. Sophie wore a beautiful lace wedding dress & had a classic green and white bouquet with trailing eucalyptus.
The couple had an indoor ceremony held in the garden room at Holbrook Manor, their son Louie joined the groom as the bride made her entrance, it was a really special moment!! The ceremony was full of the laughs and heart-felt words, and their guests clapped and cheered as they were declared husband & wife.
Everybody headed outside to enjoy the gardens surrounded by ancient woodlands, and after a few family formals we whisked the newlyweds away for their couple portraits. Sophie & Steve could not stop giggling and smiling, they were a complete joy to photograph! The wedding breakfast was meticulously planned by the bride, from the floral table centres to the gold accessories, she even planned the wedding favours of alcoholic shots to match the theme!
The couple surprised their guests with the swinging waiters, everybody was on their feet singing & dancing and of course the obligatory wedding conga had to be done! The dancing continued long into the evening as the DJ played and we left everybody to enjoy the night.
