Holbrook Manor wedding photographer - Sage green summer wedding with touches of gold at Holbrook Manor
Laura and Ivo had a beautiful summers wedding at one of our favourite Somerset wedding venues, Holbrook Manor, which is the most romantic wedding venue with those modern touches and beautiful light throughout which we adore! The couple originally booked a New Years Eve wedding but decided to postpone until later in the year due to Covid restrictions, they still kept a touch of winter luxury with an abundance of foliage and candles with lots of sage green and touches of gold which looked absolutely stunning!
Laura got ready in the getting ready room at Holbrook Manor with her 2 bridesmaids. We snapped a few photos of them being pampered before collecting her bridal details together to photograph. There was such a special meaning to Laura’s wedding dress, she wanted to reuse her mums wedding dress so she had it altered slightly and created the most beautiful dress that really matched the whole romantic feel of the day.
Ivo was greeting guests along with his brother, the best man, and looked so smart in a cream suit with a sage green tie. The ceremony was held in the morning room at Holbrook Manor, there were a few readings from family and lots of smiles and laughter. After the ceremony, everyone headed outside for the confetti aisle which is always great fun!! All the guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn whilst the sun shone down, it was a beautiful summers day that you can only dream of for your wedding day.
After a few family formals, we took the newlyweds away for some beautiful couple portraits on the grounds of the wedding venue. As recommended suppliers for Holbrook Manor, we know the best spots for photographs, as well as capturing a few requests from the bride. They enjoyed a moment alone before heading back to be called for the wedding breakfast.
The garden room was set up with tons of greenery and romantic candles, there was the most stunning green and gold edged wedding cake and little nods to the bride and grooms love of travel including a guest globe for their guests to write their well wishes on. The speeches were made, the cake was cut and the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
