Hestercombe Gardens photographer

After what seems like an eternity, it felt so good to get back behind the camera recently for our first Somerset engagement shoot of the year!  Amy & Adam are getting married at Hestercombe Gardens next year, it was great to meet up with them at their amazing wedding venue in Somerset last week for their engagement shoot! 

The gardens at Hestercombe looked so beautiful in the June sunshine, our bride Amy adores lavender so we used this gorgeous lilac plant as a frame for a few of their photos and as a backdrop for their beautiful engagement rings. Adams engagement ring splits into two pieces, the middle of the ring is an out line of Mount Cook in New Zealand which is where Amy proposed to Adam. What an original ring, though a little tricky to photograph!

Hestercombe has 50 acres of beautiful gardens and is perfect as a backdrop for those beautiful weddings! Our couple particular love the daisy steps at the entrance to Hestercombe so we had to start there and capture some beautiful photos of them on those pretty steps. The Orangery at Hestercombe Gardens is one of the prettiest buildings we have ever seen, we cannot wait for the wedding ceremony here next year, the light inside is so beautiful!!

Amy & Adam are the loveliest couple and it was great chatting to them about their plans for their wedding day at Hestercombe Gardens and walking through their wedding venue with them to find out which spots they love so we can head back to these locations on their wedding day. We all particular loved the pergola, such a pretty space. And the waterfall was spectacular, even if our lovely bride & groom had to do a hop, skip and a jump over the water to reach it!

We are even more excited for this picture perfect garden wedding at Hestercombe Gardens now, Somerset wedding venues really are some of the best in the country, in our humble opinion :-) And this is why we love being Somerset wedding photographers!
