There’s nothing better than a modern romantic summer wedding! We met Clare & Jamie at the Trafalgar Tavern wedding fair back in 2017. We did their beautiful engagement shoot last summer in Greenwich Park.  Fast forward to August 2018 and it was finally time for these two to say I do!

Clare got ready at The Mitre in the heart of Greenwich along with her 5 bridesmaids. She was enjoying a glass of bubbly whilst reminiscing about all the good times they’d all had together. One last sip of prosecco and she stepped into her beautiful Ronald Joyce dress and headed to the Church.

The groom Jamie met all their friends and family at the Railway in Blackheath. Everyone was enjoying a drink and wishing the groom well before making their way to the Church.

The bride arrived, the music began and she walked down the aisle accompanied by her father. The ceremony was just beautiful, you could really see the love in their little side glances at each other. We all headed outside and boarded the London Bus to the Trafalgar Tavern. 

We stopped off for the all important confetti shot on the stairs before everyone headed into the Nelson rooms. The views from the floor to ceiling windows across the Thames are very impressive and the reception room looked fantastic adorned with flowers and Nautical decorations as a nod to the venues history.

The speeches were made and everyone was treated to good food and drinks. The bride absolutely adores cheese so we weren’t surprised to see a cheese tower by Nibbles Cheese Shop in place of the traditional wedding cake! The new Mr & Mrs then took to the chandelier adorned dancefloor and danced their first dance as husband and wife. Clare & Jamie, it was wonderful to watch you finally say i do, and we cant believe this was our last wedding at the Trafalgar Tavern as we are relocating to become Somerset wedding photographers, what great memories we will be taking with us!!
