Blush Summer Wedding
Oh we adore a summer wedding! Add five beautiful bridesmaids in blush, flower crowns and the prettiest wedding dress you ever did see and that is our idea of wedding heaven right there! The weather was just perfect for the summer wedding of Georgina & Graham at The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Georgina got ready at The Mercure at London Bridge along with her bridesmaids, there was such a relaxed atmosphere and lots of laughter. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when the bride stepped into her beautiful wedding dress!
Graham was waiting at The Swan along with his best man Max. They were greeting all the guests as they arrived and everybody made their way to the balcony room.
The bride arrived and made her way upstairs to the ceremony, one of the parents read a beautiful reading and the vows were made. Everybody cheered as the newlyweds had their first kiss! We all headed outside, there were lots of tourists and the sun was shining. The best man Max has set the bar for all future best man!! He helped organise the group shots like a pro, anything we needed help with he was there. We’ve decided we need a Max at every wedding!
We took the bride & groom along the river Thames for some beautiful couple portraits. There are always street entertainers along the Thames path at this time of year, and we grabbed a few shots of our couple by the big bubbles, it was so much fun! All the members of the public were waving and congratulating the newlyweds.
We headed back to the Swan and onto the evening reception. After a delicious meal, the speeches & toasts to the happy couple were made. Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill is a school friend of the bride, it was so lovely to see her there as a guest!
The couple chose a pretty pink wedding cake along with a tower of doughnuts, we could get on board with this wedding trend! After the cutting of the cake, they took to the dance floor and danced their first dance as husband and wife. With views overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral & the city, this is one of the most romantic weddings we have seen.
