Swan at the globe wedding

A couple in love, fireworks & a touch of Shakespeare, oh is there anything more romantic?

Natalie & Tony chose the iconic ‘Swan at the Globe’ to say ‘I do’. This is the second time this year we have been wedding photographers at the Swan and we were so excited to be back at this beautiful London wedding venue!

Natalie got ready at the ‘Park Plaza Westminster hotel’, with views overlooking Big Ben, it really was a room with a view! Kiss was playing on the TV and the bride was relaxed whilst having her hair & make up done by ‘Create Beautiful Hair’ She stepped into her wedding dress, wow, she looked so beautiful! The wedding car arrived and the bride made her way to Shakespeare’s globe. There was a chill in the November air and a breath of excitement as we made our way along Blackfriars.

Tony was greeting his guests at the bar at the Swan, everyone was in good spirits enjoying the fantastic London views of St Paul’s cathedral & the millennium bridge. The bride arrived and the happy couple took their vows in the balcony room overlooking the river Thames. After the ceremony we headed outside to capture some beautiful couple portraits of the newlyweds. Natalie & Tony visited the Tate modern on their first date so we had to include a photo of them outside! As we walked along Bankside the public were congratulating the bride & groom which was so lovely.

It was time for their wedding breakfast, the speeches were made as delicious food & drink was served by Betty and her amazing team at the Swan. Natalie & Tony had secretly been learning the Waltz for their first dance, it was mesmerising watching them dance their first dance as husband & wife in front of all their friends & family. After a final photo of the new Mr & Mrs with the backdrop of the City of London and a few fireworks, we left them dancing the night away.
